Upward Bound Study Center was founded in 1990 to provide educational, civic and social assistance to lower income Chinese who are recent immigrants to West San Gabriel Valley. At Upward Bound, evangelical Christians have been able to serve the Chinese community, demonstrate Christ’s love for new Chinese immigrants and bring them to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. FECA adopted Upward Bound as a ministry in 2000.
